Republishing Articles

Our bee newsletter is full of completely original articles and we are proud to have so many authors in our beekeeping group willing to write for us. Many bee newsletters are compilations of articles from other newsletters.

If you should decide to use one of our articles, please let us know that you are doing so and credit our newsletter for the article. Example: "This article was first published in Spilling the Honey, the newsletter of the Georgia Beekeepers Association."

GUIDELINES for SUBMISSION:

Please keep your articles to about 500 words. Send them to us as word documents, attached to an email. Don't do anything fancy to the margins - just makes it hard for us. This is a newsletter and we want to keep things short and sweet.

Please attach photos to the email - do not put them in the body of the document - we'll just have to email you to ask you to send them as attachments - so start out by attaching them to your emailed submission. Please tell us who took the photo and who/where it is/when it was taken.

Remember: Letters to the editor about anything in the newsletter or the newsletter itself are welcome - please write us!

Don't be shy - we love what you contribute and will work with you to edit it, if need be.

If you would like to write a short article for us or if you have ideas for future newsletters, please email us. If you would like your club speakers or short courses to be featured, please get information about your upcoming month (speaker, project, etc) to us by the 15th of the previous month.
